Rx for Understanding: Be Smart About Prescription Drugs (Grades 5-8)

The resources, called Rx for Understanding, include 10 cross-curricular lessons for middle school students. It contains 10 lessons that lead students through an inquiry-based, technology inspired project enabling an opportunity apply the key concepts learned about the misuse, abuse, and proper use of prescription drugs. The Educator’s Resource Guide for grades 9-12 includes background information, lesson plans, a reproducible student journal, teaching resources, parent information, and national academic standards alignment charts (including National Health Education Standards and Common Core State Standards).
